Ai Weiwei is China's best known contemporary artist and his work is exhibited across the world.
But for a long time, he himself has been unable to see it. He was jailed for three months in 2011 after criticising the Chinese authorities and following his release the government forbade him from travelling overseas for more than four years.
But earlier this year the travel ban on Ai Weiwei was lifted and this week he has been in Australia attending the launch of a major new exhibition.
