Japanese folklore is brimming with fascinating supernatural beings. Yōkai
are a class of shapeshifting monsters, spirits, and demons, ranging
from malevolent to mischievous to benevolent, and appearing as
everything from animals to humans to inanimate objects.
Japanese illustrator Hanabiyori Tatami
creates awesome series of Yokai manifesting as things like pieces of
sushi, bottles of saké, plants, packages of instant curry, and Chochin paper lanterns.
